Dixieland Jazz

Jammin' with the band! On the last Sunday afternoon of the month Dixieland Jazz is on tap at the Jazz Corner on Hilton Head Island. Many of our familly members were around yesterday to hear my dad perform with the Port Royal Sound Dixieland Jazz Band. Led by my dad's buddy and mentor Steve Rich, the musicians entertained us with familiar tunes like 12th Street Rag, DarkTown Strutters Ball, and When the Saints Go Marching In!!! Daddy's love of music and playing the horn is something we've watched (and heard) for a long time. He is always striving to improve his skills. We are all inspired by his pursuit of his dreams!!Here are a few pictures from the Jazz Corner!! Thanks to ALL the talented musicians for an entertaining Sunday afternoon!!!
